Well, I finally had the time to sit down and watch the replay of the legendary fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier from 1975, the “Thrilla in Manila”, on a Wednesday off of work. The calendar has turned to May and, with the dismissal of the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night, the field of Stanley Cup contenders has been winnowed down to the final four.
